COVID-19: Health Precautions at Collier Law

March 3, 2020— Here at Collier Law, we take great pride in making our office safe and welcoming for our clients. We understand that many people may be nervous about going out under the present circumstances. We want to assure you that our office is doing the very most to take care of you. As recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we regularly take precautions to keep our clients and employees safe from all illnesses and, in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are being more diligent than ever.

To give our clients peace of mind while also holding ourselves accountable, here are the measures we take to keep our employees and office environment as healthy as possible:

  1. All sick employees are asked to stay home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours. If an employee becomes ill while at work, they are separated from the other employees and sent home as soon as possible.
  2. Frequently touched surfaces such as countertops, conference room tables, and doorknobs are washed regularly with disinfecting cleaning products. Additionally, disposable wipes are available to our employees so they can wipe down keyboards, desks, remotes, etc. before use.
  3. Healthy employees are instructed to practice good hygiene and etiquette by washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, using CDC-approved alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and covering their mouths and noses with a tissue or their elbow for coughing and sneezing.

The health of our clients and employees is very important to us and we will continue to check with the CDC for updates as the COVID-19 situation unfolds, making every effort to create a healthy environment in our offices and community.
